Photography Studio Rental Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the rental and use of Country Farm Studios (“Studio,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) by the individual or business renting the property (“Renter,” “Client,” or “Photographer”). By booking the Studio, the Renter agrees to all terms outlined below.
1. Rental Eligibility
The Studio is available for rent to photographers, videographers, and content creators for professional or personal use. The individual making the reservation must be at least 18 years of age and is responsible for everyone in their party.
2. Rental Period
Rental time begins and ends 30 minutes prior to and after the time reserved.
The reserved time includes:
- Arrival
- Equipment unloading
- Client setup
- Photography session
- Breakdown
- Cleanup
- Departure
Additional time will be billed at the current hourly rate if the Studio is occupied beyond the reserved rental period.
3. Payment
A signed rental agreement and payment are required to secure a reservation.
Payment terms:
- Full payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Additional charges incurred during the rental will be invoiced after the session and are due within seven (7) days.
Accepted payment methods:
- Credit/Debit Card
- Electronic Payment
- Venmo
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
You are able to reschedule your booking up to 3 days prior to your booking. We do not offer refunds on cancellations.
The Studio reserves the right to cancel reservations due to severe weather, emergencies, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, renters will be offered either a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule.
5. Studio Access
The rental includes access only to barn, equipment, fencing and grounds to the west of the property driveway. All buildings, vehicles, grounds east of the property driveway are private and may not be entered or used.
No overnight storage is permitted unless previously approved.
6. Farm Safety
Country Farm Studios is located on an active farm.
By renting the Studio, the Renter acknowledges that farm environments contain inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- Uneven terrain
- Gravel and dirt surfaces
- Livestock and wildlife
- Farm equipment
- Agricultural vehicles
- Fencing
- Barns and outbuildings
- Weather-related hazards
All guests enter and use the property at their own risk.
Children must remain under adult supervision at all times.
Running, climbing on structures, or entering restricted areas is prohibited.
7. Animals
The property includes a chicken coop and approximately 12 chickens. The coop is located on the west side of the property, which is included in Studio access. You and your clients may NOT under any circumstances open the chicken coop or access the chickens without the express written consent of the Studio and the assistance of a Studio owner. If your clients would like to include the chickens in their photoshoot, please reach out to the Studio to coordinate this.
To protect the safety of our guests and the farm, outside animals are not permitted on the property unless expressly approved in writing by Country Farm Studios.
8. Care of the Property
The Renter agrees to:
- Treat all buildings, furniture, props, décor, and equipment with care.
- Leave the Studio in substantially the same condition it was found.
- Dispose of all trash.
- Return furniture and props to their original locations.
- Report any damage immediately.
Normal wear is expected.
The Renter is financially responsible for damage caused by themselves, their clients, guests, vendors, children, or pets.
Repair or replacement costs will be charged to the Renter.
9. Decorations & Set Alterations
Nothing may be permanently attached to walls, ceilings, doors, or furniture.
The following are prohibited without written approval:
- Nails
- Screws
- Staples
- Tape that damages surfaces
- Paint
- Glitter
- Confetti
- Smoke bombs
- Powder cannons
- Open flames
- Fireworks
Seasonal sets and decorations may not be substantially altered without permission. You may rearrange seating to accommodate the group your photographing.
10. Furniture & Props
Furniture and props may be moved carefully unless otherwise marked.
Large furniture may not be dragged across floors.
Any moved items must be returned to their original location before departure.
11. Equipment
The Studio does not provide photography lighting equipment. Renters are responsible for bringing their own lighting, modifiers, stands, triggers, batteries, extension cords, and any other equipment necessary for their session.
Photographers are responsible for their own equipment.
The Studio is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged equipment.
13. Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
Smoking, vaping, alcohol and illegal drug use are prohibited anywhere on the property.
Anyone appearing intoxicated may be required to leave immediately.
14. Conduct
Respectful behavior is expected at all times.
The following may result in immediate termination of the rental without refund:
- Unsafe behavior
- Illegal activity
- Harassment
- Excessive noise
- Damage to property
- Violation of Studio policies
15. Commercial Use
Commercial productions, styled shoots, and other activities require prior approval and may be subject to different pricing.
The Studio may use behind-the-scenes photographs of the property for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed.
16. Copyright
Photographers retain ownership of the images they create.
The Studio does not claim copyright to client photographs.
The Studio appreciates being tagged in social media posts featuring the Studio (@Country Farm Studios on FB and IG)
17. Liability Waiver
The Renter accepts full responsibility for their own safety and for the safety of their clients, guests, assistants, vendors, and invitees.
Country Farm Studios, its owners, employees, and representatives shall not be liable for:
- Personal injury
- Death
- Property damage
- Theft
- Loss of equipment
- Accidents occurring on the property
- Weather conditions
- Acts of animals or wildlife
The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Country Farm Studios from any claims, damages, costs, attorney fees, or liabilities arising from the Renter’s use of the property.
18. Insurance
Commercial photographers are encouraged to maintain general liability insurance.
The Studio reserves the right to require proof of insurance.
19. Force Majeure
The Studio shall not be liable for cancellations or interruptions caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, power outages, government actions, or emergencies.
20. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located within the State of Colorado.
